Photography has been such a big part of my life for the past 5 years. After not being able to continue my studies in fashion I decided to attempt the BTEC photography course at school in my home town Aberaeron, West Wales. After my first few lessons I was hooked. I then went on the study a foundation in Art and Design at Coleg Sir Gar, Jobs Well Campus, Carmarthen. This course opened my eyes that it was possible to make a career out of my passion. By doing photography I was able to incorporate both my passions, photography and fashion.
My location in the small town of Aberaeron in West Wales really does play a big part in my work. I especially love doing fashion photography within the town, as I have so much choice for backgrounds, colours, textures etc with all the houses being a different colour. If you drive about 3 miles inland you will find the national trust and stunning Llanechaeron house, and 20 miles north of Aberaeron is the gorgeous town of Aberystwyth, with the castle grounds, seaside, busy centre and lots of little woodland walks. I really do have a different background for every photo, right there on my doorstep here in West Wales!
