Lockdown

I never thought we'd all end up experiencing a pandemic where we are not allowed to leave the house. This actually seemed like my worst nightmare. I don't think I've ever had more than a day off before so having 3 months off from Photography seemed bizarre and scary.

For everyone who knows me they know I'm the type of person who is always going 110% and never gives myself a break, so lockdown has been a blessing in disguise. I've managed to relax, spend time with my family and just start new projects and hobbies I'd been wanting to do for a while! At first it was strange having weekends to myself and being able to just sunbathe or go for walks, but I was ready and excited to get back to doing what I love.

After 3 months off from photography and towards the end of lockdown I decided to set up my 'doortriats'. I have absolutely loved this. I was able to leave the house and do what I love and photograph people from the comfort of their home.

I decided to give 20% of each session towards to charity mind. I feel this was a perfect charity to go with lockdown, I'm sure it has or will help many people to continue to work through this strange time we are all living in.

Since lockdown had eased I have decided to keep with the socially distanced photoshoots and open space sessions for a while. I've decided to do this for my safety and the safety of all my clients.

I'm starting to book up fast again and I can't wait to meet you all and capture you and your families!
